It's Saturday Night and here is the Saturday Night Sortie for the Freeper Canteen.

Tonights aircraft a golden oldie that didn't quite make it to WW-II the Grumman F7F Tigercat. Powered by a PAIR of the reliable P&W R-2800 engines the Max speed on this ship was 435mph at 22,000 feet. ZOOM ZOOM

The Tigercat in it's night fighter guise did see action in Korea and some were used as Fire Attack aircraft. So here is tonights Sortie :-)
