Hi dredhawk,
Welcome to the Canteen. I really like Blood Sweat & Tears (and Mojo doesn't) and I consider the origional Al Kooper group one of the greatest and most diverse groups that the 1960s produced (outside of The Beatles). Bobby Colomby was a mentor to my career (along with Danny Seraphine of Chicago).
Right now I've got the Thunder servers all loaded up and overflowing with Beatle and Beatle cover tunes and surprisingly, BS&T never covered a single Lennon/McCartney song on wax, yet, I've heard them wail on "Good Day Sunshine" in concert and I've been looking for bootlegs. I don't have a lick of space left, but next weekend, for sure, I'll get some BS&T on the playlist for you - David Clayton-Thomas is one of my favorite singers.
