Nevermind.....just read an article that KSNW has reversed their decision not to air the program.
I think the series was supposed to be NBC's answer to "Desperate Housewives" which, while not being family entertainment, does have a Catholic priest on the show at times who says some very sensible things and is not portrayed as a hypocrite or a pedophile. They have introduced a new character (a nun, I guess) this year who seems to be striking up an affair with Gabrielle's husband under the guise of doing missionary work in Africa but it is hard to see exactly where that storyline is going yet.
2. Secular humanism is the myth, not Christianity."
Prove it.
While there is no proof, I can say this, Jesus was either:
A. Crazy
B. A liar
C. The Son of God
You make a choice and we'll go from there.

Well, here is one email address so we can go after the recanting GM in Wichita:

I used to like him, but his shtick has worn thin.
90% of the Lifetime programming consists of three themes: (a) homosexual actor/actress or character; (b) all-men-are-pigs/abusers; or (c) good men are those who look and act like metrosexuals. Tailored for those who like Oprah, Rosie O'Donnell, and Ellen Degeneres.
The portrayal of the Catholic priest by the marvelous Charles Durning on "Everybody Loves Raymond" was always pretty good too.
How about a mass letter writing campaign to NBC the essence of which is:
"NBC - What were you thinking?"
"Temptation and Forgiveness" Debut: This quirky drama features a stellar cast headed by Aidan Quinn, who plays Daniel Webster, a devoted husband, father and Episcopalian minister. In the opener, Daniel's having a hard time dealing wit the demands of family and work.
No mention of the bizarre relationships at all.
But it is quite possible that you were writing to a leftist SOB. Boy, they sure are out there, especially in the media.
To say what you are saying....many channels would qualify---HBO, NBC, MTV...many movies and tv shows have a 'message'. I think many lifetime movies wholesome messages.
True. But I've already identified the target demographic for Lifetime and its primary themes. These are different than those for HBO, NBC, and MTV.
New York and Hollywood hates America and everything it stands for. They think the average American needs to be reeducated. Their technique is to seek sanctuary in controversy and to throw out pilots until something sticks or they have to go back to popular sitcoms before ratings drop through the floor.
