Why bother boycotting it? The reviews are lousy, and it could finish NBC as a network. Let them fail, don't give them more publicity. I wouldn't watch this show if someone paid me, but I say let NBC air the show and watch it get cancelled within weeks. NBC should realize that people who threaten to boycott the network weren't viewers of the network to begin with anyway.

NBC still makes TV shows?
I haven't watched broadcast TV in a long, long time.

If it isn't insulting to Christians and an assault, then why don't they do a similar show on Muslims? Or Kennys Buddhists? They wouldn't even entertain the thought.

What happened to Hill Street Blues will happen to this program. It will be nixed in a few markets, get lots of publicity but will end up being shown on most stations and will someday be on TVLAND or some other cable channel.

I could say that I will no longer watch any NBC programs, but I am right now not watching any NBC programs already.

Just your typical Episcopalian All American Family. I think they just left out the wierdos who will be brought in as the season progresses. I can't wait! NBC[ Nothing But Crap].

I have a feeling that if people do make up their minds, "Daniel" gets the axe because of low ratings. It looks perfectly awful, even if you don't consider the religious and spiritual ramifications. My prediction: because of all the publicity, high ratings tonight; next week, hardly anyone will watch.

One of America's booming businesses is the indignation industry that manufactures the synthetic outrage needed to fuel identity politics. George Will Jan 5 2006. I don't understand why anyone would be afraid of this show. Surely true believers are confident enough in their faith that a silly drama or comedy (I really don't know which it is) isn't going to influence them. Did George Burns and 'Oh God' bruise the sensibilities of evangelicals thirty years ago? I don't remember any protests, but maybe someone can point me to source documents saying otherwise.

They were flipping the bird at Christians. I suspect it's a very expensive display of the middle finger for NBC.

I am impressed that KSNW took the stand in Wichita that they did.
Surprised and impressed. Way to go.

I really dislike McCuddy. Slimy looking guy, and most of his "reviews" suck.

>>I threw my TV away years ago. I also don't sprinkle my food with rat poison.
Ditto that. I don't remember when I stopped paying the cable co. $50 a month to connect my tv to regrettable smut every time I turned it on. But I sure do remember regretting it, every time I turned it on. Usually no more than 5 minutes, and they'd be broadcasting something I'd rather my young daughter didn't hear.
People can live just fine without tv. We don't miss it at all.
To: peyton randolph
LOL--Dish Network sent out notices that they wouldn't be carrying Lifetime (I don't know if they've reinstated it yet), and I wrote back saying, Good, please don't bring it back.

Oh, Fawn, you must be kidding? Lifetime has a collection of the most insipid movies possible! Soap operas, every one of them, and usually with bad writing, bad acting, and annoying "messages" they try to push.
