This sounds semi-retarded. The only problem as with so many Clinton plans is they only need to stand up for 72 hours during the hearings. This could be a ploy to get GOP'ers to delay the hearings longer to uncover this vast plot. Hopefully it will be as effective as 60 minutes Docugate.

Their paymasters ponied up huge bucks to defeat Republican nominees and almost none of it got spent trying to defeat Roberts. If they don't put forth an effort on Alito, the money river might dry up.

Senate Democrats have put into place a plan that includes one last push to take down the nomination of Judge Samuel A. Alito I don't worry the Uber-Cons that told us we needed this argument will save Alito.

You can't destroy anyone unless you've got some dirt on him, or can invent some believable dirt. Since I seriously doubt they've got anything on him, and the things they've made up so far aren't sticking, it will be interesting to see what they come up with next.
