If that's the way they felt about it, then they should have made a national ruling that none of the confederate presidents or generals names should be on any of the schools. Lee is no more and no less a symbol of the Confederacy than the flag. They also shouldn't have named Army posts after Confederates. Ft. Lee, Ft. Hood, Ft. Bragg, to name just a few.
That's right. Since the Confederacy was defeated, erase all reminder of it. We don't have Hitler High, do we?
