At Least two criminal charges related to recent wildfires have been filed in Oklahoma.
The first misdemeanor charge of violating the burn ban was filed Thursday in Oklahoma County against a man who was burning trash.
The son of a retired assistant fire chief was charged Wednesday in Caddo County with arson.

The good news is the fires seem to have settled down. Waited to post this article till it was published. Stories have been floating, unofficially, for a couple days about these arrests.

I heard (unofficially and 2nd hand) about these arrests, and think there may be more that have not hit the news yet. Guess they didn't want copycats (in the case of the 18yo idjit).
Mentioned on the local news about a guy in far NE OKC who decided to charbroil steaks on New Years Eve, regardless of high winds and gusts around 50mph, and September temps. Expect we will see his name in print shortly! One of the fires in the NE part of the county was easily traced to his back yard.
Here all along, I thought it was the full moon that brought these moonbats out!
