If I were ever in a pinch I would rather have one miner than a whole boat load of John Kerry-Ted Kennedy types.
My step-grandfather was a mining accident investigator.

OH absolutely. Same way with getting lost in the woods. Would you want a coal miner or as you say the kerry/kennedy types. No thanks. Coal Miners anyday!!!

My Uncle was a miner. He was a good family man but he wasn't necessarily that nice. He died at about 50 of a brain aneurysm. His co-workers at the mine said nobody thought ol' Chuck would live long enough to die of natural causes.
