This is so sicking. If you've ever had the chance to listen to the nationally sindicated show Loveline, which deals with childhood abuse nightly, you'd know how destructive molestation is for this little girl. She is ruined, and this guy gets 60 days! I know for a fact he'd get MUCH longer for killing a dog or smoking a joint. If i were this girls father I'd murder the son of ***** rapist, then request the same judge. He'd only get 6 months tops.

If she was my daughter, I'd kill the POS the second he walked out of jail, the consequences wouldn't matter.

Exactly, plus if i were a jury on the murder case I'd use my right of jury nolification. Hell if i were a governor i'd pardon every single murderer of a rapist.

Put the pressure on the Govenor.

This is a disgrace:

I've penned the following:

The sentencing of a Child Rapist to 60 days in jail by Judge Cashman is a disgrace and a revolting travesty of justice.
He must be removed from the bench immediately.
There is no excuse for this outrage and I plan to notify all my friends, relatives and acquaintances who live in the state of Vermont to hold any politician accountable for any inaction on this problem.
Regards,

My stomach is turning, I'm so angry right now.

As Ditto said, it's a sign of advancing age when one
remembers that Vermont was once a safe and sane place.
When would you say the "tipping point" occurred? Sane
ppl might see it as an object lesson on the perils of
uncontrolled immigration. Unhappily I fear that there
are judges such as this one in all states.

From the WND article: Claiming he no longer believes in punishment, a Vermont judge issued a 60-day sentence to a man who confessed to repeatedly raping a girl over a four-year period, beginning when she was 7 years old. I heard BOR last night. This F*er raped this little girl over and over and over. Three numbers: 357

Like usual, I like to dig a little deeper, but one thing puzzles me. Unless I'm not doing my searches correctly, I've spent almost and hour and only found one reference to what actually happened here.

Apparently, this guy was allowed to sleep with the girl in her room behind a locked door by the parents. They claimed that he was her "baby sitter".

Furthermore, this goes on for three or four years along with another guy raping her in their home and the parents don't know and the girl doesn't say anything to them?

Then the judge makes a statement that he "is doing this for the family ...".

You have to wonder about this whole thing; there has got to be more to it.

If anyone finds any articles concerning the details to this situation, not just "he raped her" I would like to know. The fact that I dug so long and found so little makes me suspicious.

You may not like Bill O'Reilly. You have the right to like or dislike anyone you choose. But, name calling (Bill O'Reilly, an idiot pitbull?) is a tool ignorant people use. How would you like some night to be watching "The Factor", only to hear Mr O'Reilly bring up your name and, in front of millions of viewers call you an ignorant moron with an IQ of less than a house plant? Name calling solves nothing, it only makes things worse.

Seeing as this is your first day, I welcome you to Free Republic!

People of all intellect employ adjectives and "name calling". So your statement that name calling is only a tool ignorant people use is not accurate. O'Reilly himself does quite a bit of it so is he ignorant as well?

I believe that my use of idiot pitbull accurately describes O'Reilly because his analysis is extremely shallow and he attacks like a pitbull. Idiot sounded better than shallow so I used that one. :-)
