Is that why he was fired?

Is that why he was fired?It started the ball rolling. He went from DIA to NSA, but continued to pursue the charge against his former DIA colleague.
DIA referred his complaints back to the NSA security office, and from there things went downhill.
His colleague was exonerated of Tice's charge.
