Kennedy admits to drink problem

Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy has admitted he "been seaking to cope with a drink problem".
He said he had "struggled" against alcohol but had not had a drink for two months now and is in good health.

They also use "Sport" singular when talking about Sports. In the papers it is the Sport Page, and on the TV news, "Up Next, a round up of the weekend Sport".

I married into a Boston Irish family and I can tell you this:the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish funeral is on less drunk.I'm Boston Irish myself and can attest to the fact that God created whiskey in order to keep the Irish from ruling the world.
And,anyway,I believe that Kennedy is a Scot,not Irish.

Could there be a literacy problem at the BBC or is
this some sort of British spelling convention that
