This person knows he has broken the law and will be caught and is coming out with the "whistleblower" excuse.

Not only is he a traitor, looks like he's going to go for the self-righteous grandstander defense.
I predict the imminent arrival of a new insufferable liberal hump on the national scene.

Correction. Not a "whistle-blower". Whistle blowers are only authorized to speak to members of the Legislative or Executive branch with the appropriate Security clearances. You are NOT a "Whistle blower" if you leak classified info to the Press. You are a felon and a traitor, NOT a whistelblower.

Must not have gotten a promotion he wanted. By the way, why don't they call it "cry baby" instead of "whistleblower"? I do believe that title is relevant most of the time.

Testify to what entity?
The leaker, once known and if prosecuted, will have an opportunity to testify in his own defense, probably in closed court. ;-)
But seriously, I sense Congressional testimony coming about, likely before a closed committee session.

This is just a "cover yer ass" Hail Mary move on the part of a traitor because he knows they will find him and hang him (figuratively). The New York Slimes probably told him that when they talk to Justice they will sing at the top of their lungs. He/she is being guided by the Slimes to take the 'martyr' road so they can
try to defend him on their opinion pages and slant their reporting. Typical of the Slimes and the MSM.

Let the maggot "testify" but he/she/it should not be allowed to "plea bargain" or be given immunity. This maggot needs to be sent to prison for committing treason against the United States.

Gertz: NSA whistleblower asks to testify; Vows to describe illegal intelligence operations... DEVELOPING... Bring it on!! And MSM, get it right: this is not a whistle blower (with far superior knowledge than the Supreme Court judges on constitutional law) this person is committing TREASON.

To say he is a whistleblower gives the notion the NSA is doing something wrong.
They aren't, they didn't.
Drudge is spinning.
To: Sybeck1
This guy is NOT a whistle blower and drudge should not be wording that way - but its how the MSM wants to frame the argument.
This guy is a leaker who has broken the law, plain and simple. He should save the tax payers money and turn him self in.
To: Sybeck1
Who wants to bet that the leaker is a Clinton administration appointee?

So this person gets to call themselves a "whistle-blower" and define what is illegal because of something they don't like even though they are bound by confidentiality? If this is how it works then we don't need Congress, President, Judges, etc... because society is now a self proclaimed dictatorship where everyone rules.
