The real MREs are made by a company called Sopakco but they're not selling direct right now, or at least last time I checked (Iraq, Katrina, etc).
Check www.actiongear.com, they had some Sopakco MREs a couple months ago.
Be careful, a lot of folks are selling bogus MREs. Sopakco and another company are the only ones manufacturing for DoD, and even they won't sell you the military-issued goods. It's not allowed, and they sell you a slightly different "civilian" version.

Please answer me this, is that little packet of paper meant for toilet tissue or napkins? Both. Just make sure you use it as a napkin first.

Anything will taste bad after you have it fro breakfast for the umteenth time. My skin still crawls at the thought of Chicken A la King as a wake up meal.
Used to carry 5 pounds of dry rice in 1/4 pound packets, would boil it up and add to whatever turned up.
MREs for 35 days in a row, sounds criminal to me.
