I personally think people should see a show before criticizing it, but I have seen the same or similar descriptions of this show on numerous entertainment websites. If they have the right to show it then people have the right to complain that they feel it is not a positive representation of their beliefs. NBC makes the final decision on if this show stays or goes, and that will be based on its profitability.

The way I look at it is, if some a-hole is going around verbally bashing my sister, should I just let it happen, or should I find out what the hell is going on and then beat the snot out of them. I chose plan B, you don't have to sit back in life and let people tear apart what you believe in or let them mock your beliefs.

The simple question is would this show have been green-lighted if it was anything other then a Christian Family? I think you know the answer to that question.

I completely agree with your first paragraph, but I think the sister part is a false analogy.
Bottom line, the show is going nowhere anyway.
