Would you really expect dignity and class from a 60 year old, gap-toothed, balding freak who won't marry his girlfriend of decades who just gave him a baby? Letterman's ratings have been dropping exponentially with his ugly looks. He has the kind of face that induces fried egg smelling nausea. On top of that, he's a dumb cluck who admitted to O'Reilly that he wasn't smart enough to debate him rationally on Iraq and Christmas. Now we know that he hates Christmas and Jesus and patriotic Americans.

But the thing with Leno is that he takes equal shots at both parties. I remember when he would rip on Clintoon (and still does). So he's not just a one-shotter, unlike Letterman. And besides, most of Letterman's top 10 lists are anti-bush related, at least in my experience.

I just got through watching this... I can't believe I used to like this guy. I had no idea he would treat people like this. I'm not the biggest BOR fan, but he had some major balls to do what he did. The whole audience seemed to be against him, yet he stook his ground and got his point through.

I didn't see the pencil thing, which sounded really dispicable. What really pissed me off though was when BOR said something like I can respect your opinions, I hope you can respect mine. Then Letterman just kind of goes oh well... uhh... yeah... you suck.

What a rotten man, I guess all of CBS is bad... well almost all of it. There is one man who I've loved for many years now. Bob Barker! I don't care what he is, I love The Price is Right!

You're right. He at least tries to present the appearance of being balanced.

I actually pretty much stopped watching Letterman when his wife stopped writing for the show. After that, it was all just an empty shell.

a very late reply to Letterman stirring the pencil in O'Reilly's drink...I saw it myself, and Letterman shrugged his shoulders and smirked and the audience laughed and he continued introducing O'Reilly. He is a piece of crap, Letterman. Stopped watching when his bias became obvious and he just was not funny any more. Also emailed his show after this show and told what I thought of dear old Dave.

I didn't see the exchange with Letterman (who I perceive as kind'a strange, btw), but I did see the O'Reilly show tonight (friday) and Bill was on fire. The segment with the attorney for the Black Panthers re the accused Duke lacrosse rape was priceless, this guy looked (and sounded) like he was a)completely stupid b) drugged out c) brainwashed d) paid off or e) any combo thereof. Also, the interview with "dragon lady" Andrea Mitchell (aka, Alan Greenspan's "spouse") was utterly hilarious. Andrea apparently was on the show to promote her new book and Bill ripped her on the liberal bias in the MSM. Seeing Andrea sputter and lie to defend her comrades was so funny, but the really comical part is the fact that this woman (if you can call her that) subjects herself to this kind of humiliation just so she can make a buck off of her book sales. Andrea willingly makes herself go through this nonsense for what, another dollar? That encapsulates the mindset of the typical liberal, a media whore.
