i noticed that during the exchange the audience was a little inconsistent. they applauded letterman on the cindy sheehan issue but also applauded o'rielly when he said he'd never refer to iraqi terrorists as freedon fighters, as she did.
I think there were two different groups in Letterman's audience tonight: The usual clueless liberal idiots who applauded, hooted and cheered on every clueless statement Letterman made, and the few sensible people who had the guts to applaud Bill O'Reilly's rational statements of FACTS, especially when discussing the war in Iraq and Cindy Sheehan.
I'm willing to bet a good portion of the audience has no clue who Sheehan is and the majority are unaware she referred to terrorists as freedom fighters.
I thought it was great! O'Reilly gave as good as he got and better! I'd like to see more of him on Letterman and other shows. He made his points clearly and lots of people heard him who otherwise may not. Letterman did not come off well in the exchange!
