No kidding. The NYTimes has a rolodex full of such people in every area. When they want a "Catholic" quotation they call on Fr. Richard P. McBrien or Frances Kissling, or some other traitorous dissident who can be relied to give them exactly the soundbite they want.
When they want a useful "Republican" they phone John McCain or Olympia Snowe.
When they want an expert opinion on global warming, abortion, or AIDS, they know exactly whom to call. I'm sure they have a whole section of self-hating Jews on call, for every purpose.
