Hi, Sargeeeee!!!
I hear there are big waves down at the beach; will try to go down later and perhaps photograph them. Several storms passing through the Pacific, and an EQ down off Baja early this morning, too.
Having a starry night over there?
Halloooo to the Kids.

The Knight and the Archer looked for adventure
deep in the twilight's gloom,
they walked in the night, while leaving the light
and the warmth of the old inn's room,

They walked very soft, their eyes cast aloft
at the sliver of moon in the sky,
and looking around, whilst making no sound
through the fields as they passed quickly by.

As soft as a breeze moving leaves on the trees,
the pair made their way through the wood,
when out from the dark, a light like a spark,
came a-dancing around the Knight's hood!

The Knight was entranced by the glimmering dance,
but the Archer, she knew what this meant,
and flashing her dirk, with a twist and a jerk,
to the shadows the glimmer she sent.

The Knight shook his head as though rising from bed,
and asked, "What was that did I see?
The elf's voice came crisp, "That was Will-o'-the-wisp,
but that pixie can never fool me."

"The blade caused him pain," the elf did explain,
"For forged iron is not of this earth,
and its strength comes from others, and if Will has his druthers,
he would stop it with all that he's worth."

The Knight thought on this, and watched Will-o'-the-wisp,
flitting far and away in the trees,
"That something so small can be harmful to all
and to hurt others just as you please..."

"Just as the rain falls on hill or on plain,
it's not good nor evil - it just is."
Saying that, Knight and Archer began their march, o'er
lands just cloaking in mist.
