Agree! Iraq requires no major decisions on the scale of Iran. Why would he not talk to them about his biggest problem, Iran, soon to require a major decision. When they leave, they can and will safely discuss Iraq with the media because Iraq is "over" from a major decision perspective. But, at least on a group level (all will remember and immediately make journal notes on what was said), they will be locked into positions on Iran which they cannot as easily change after the President makes a decision or takes action. For Bush it is a chance to get some advice. For the group it is put-up (and live with your opinion) or shut-up time.
