BUSH TO HOST IRAQ DISCUSSION ON IRAQ // In an unusual move, the White House has invited all living secretaries of defense and state to the White House on Thursday for a discussion with President Bush of Iraq policy... Developing...
I like the STFU part...LOL
Is Dick Cheney invited?
He damned well better be!
Well, there's still just a black hole where he use to be. :-)
Powell was never SecDef.
William Cohen On Global Crossing Board - Gave Speech at Annual Dinner in 1999 - DoD Contract
They should make an exception and invite Ramsey Clark....and then arrest him when he shows up.
Maybe this is the plan after all.....LOL
I like that idea. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming today. As I speak, there are 70 cruise missiles on their way to targets in Iran. Mr. Rove will run the meeting. I'm on my way to Crawford. Oh, and be sure to try the corn chowder. It's excellent!"
I think Condi, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Haig, Kissinger, Eagleberger, Schultz, Richardson, et al., can "take" the rest of them.
Sounds fair to me, how about you?
Powell wasn't even a decent Secretary of State.
BTW, if there is a leak, my money's on him as the leaker.
c'mon,
be more optimistic
the biggest brains and the best advisors in the world will be assessing and voicing opinion. rest assured that when THEY have picked it up, looked at it, shook it up, turned it upside down, looked at it forward and back, inside and out and f'ed with it they will know exactly what they have and the best way to work with it.
i have faith
According to the post, both SECDEF and SECSTATE are being asked to attend.
Don't forget Baker!
Having a discusion is never a bad idea.
Maybe it's a sting operation to bust 'em for treason...
I never misunderestimate the President.
Albright can come after her housekeeping shift is over...
Boy, between this story and the Abramof story -- the NSA headlines have disappeared from everywhere! I notice that even Drudge has taken down his link to Risen's book, and hardly a word about that story on any show that I wathced tonight. The investigation must be heavily underway and people are running scared from saying another word about it. I look forward to it reentering the headlines when Risen and crew go to jail.
I don't have a real problemwith the Bush Iraq on Iraq meeting; in fact, I think its a pretty good idea. The nay-sayers will be outnumbered big time, I think.
Hey Maddie, you missed a spot.
