From the article:
"Doctors had said Haleigh would die within a few days without the feeding tube."
At the very least, why don't they see if the child can breathe on her own without the respirator.
Why do they have to remove the respirator and feeding tube simultaneously?
What has this country become?
Doctors have been wrong countless times.
Here's only one example:
When Aldrich awoke in April, doctors still had little hope for her. ''They told me I was going to be a vegetable," she said. ''They said I was going to be blind."
----snip----
''I can't wait to go back to Montreal," to the hospital, she said. ''That way they won't give up on anybody else."

She has been sentenced to death. Now if she were on death row and suffering a heart attack while being strapped to the gurney, she would be treated and brought back to health first. Sanctity of life and all that. On the other hand not a hint of mercy for her, not a drop of water for Terri.
For, in a court of law, they have been found guilty of innocence.
