Again, what does Google sell? Bread? Butter? Gasoline? Natural gas? Pencils on street corners? No, they sell your eyeballs. Just like the late great magazines LOOK, SATURDAY EVENING POST, LIFE (recently revived as a supplement to some Friday newspapers), and even they collected a few cents for their paper copies. Then, poof, they all went.

No, they sell your eyeballs.In other words, advertising.
Like a giant billboard.
In that case, they will get even bigger.
They can guarantee more people will see your ads or banners or what not, then anyone else can or possibly will.
And last I checked, billboards still bring in money.
