The court made it perfectly clear: the school system has a duty to prevent children from adhering to their parents' beliefs.

But wait, we're constantly being told that ID is not a religion. It certainly isn't an attempt to sneak Christianity past the Constutional prohibition.

So which is it?

Yes.

They should teach something honest and scientifically sound.

Like current stem cell research.

One thing that mjst be understood is that intelligent design is NOT Christianity. It names no specific deity, whether Jehovah or anyone else. It is, at best, agnostic. A Christian might apply it, but when he discusses special creation he has gone beyond intelligent design as I understand it.
