Why the delay? Why wasn't it released in August 2004? There have been a number of threads on it on FR: Google: Barrett Report + Kerry. The WSJ had a couple of pieces (probably referenced in the FR threads). I know Kerry and Dorgan were two of the three who fought to suppress it; I forget the third.

Excellent question.
Clintonista lawyer "David Kendall" filed hundreds of motions to keep this report from ever seeing the light of day.
IMHO a lot of time, money and arm twisting has been employed to keep this report in the same file drawer as the Able Danger info.
