Oh Right!!! As far as I know, the Catholics don't believe in the biblical millenial reign of Christ from Jerusalem which will happen in the very near future... The 'Church' has no biblical claim to any of the inherited land...

You're basing this on your own religious beliefs right?

Actually, as far as I know, the Catholic Church takes no position on what you speak of, not as it needs to. The end of time, and the events that will transpire it are not to be checked off like a laundry list, only the father knows how it will all transpire. As far as the Catholic Church goes, we are the only church to trace apostolic succession to our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

That poses an interesting question.... What will the Arabs do when Jesus Christ comes back for his reign? Will they just turn over Jerusalem to him? I mean, it's not like they are going to go up with the Rapture! (note - non-Christian, but compassionate writing here)

I always find it interesting the real world history of Biblical events such as the freeing of the Hebrews from Egypt. I mean, there's so much bound in truth that you can't tell what is metaphor sometimes. As a student of history... it's always interesting to see the postulations of others.
