2. Able Danger
3. WMDs that were found in Iraq
4. Progress in rebuilding Iraq
5. Afganistan progress
6. Adscam
7. The domestic economic boom
8. Sandy Berger

"With no financial need for buildings or pastors (and no sermons!), growth exploded to 20,000 new house churches in 2002."
No pastors or sermons? That doesn't sound like a Christian model to me.

From a purely political point of view I think that Christianity is probably the best hope for avoiding all out world war. How to defeat Islam? It's weakness is that it is a religion, and therefore subject to religious conversions. Coulter had it right (though her famous comment was tongue in cheek.)
To: Jack Black
Probably accurate. I was commenting more on the tenor of WND piece.

In recent years, he says: Illiteracy has plunged from 53 percent to 20 percent . He must not be including this country. The statistic here is approximately 40% illiteracy.

In answer to simple, sustained prayer, we now often see bars and crack houses shutting down, poverty fading, heathen temples being shuttered for lack of interest, government corruption being exposed and stopped, anti-Christian hostility waning, crime rates plunging, etc. such a simple...simple...solution

The only good thing about Islam is that it is pushing people towards us. People will increasingly want nothing to do with that 'religion'.

That breaks down to 175,000 a day (births plus conversions minus deaths).Uh, births? So someone can just be 'born' Christian and never has to make a personal decision about Jesus?

He probably includes Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy in the mix. This is of course a deceptive way of counting "christians". I know a lot of atheists and agnostics who were "baptized" as Christians when they were babies.
Evangelical head counts are probably more accurate.

5) ...Indonesia, Earth's largest Muslim nation, is now 30 percent Christian... Regarding #5 - According to almost every recent census, Christians make up about 10% of the Indonesian population. It's certainly possible that Christians are undercounted, but it's unlikely to be by such a large amount.
