Saw an article by Dick Morris in this morning's New York Post. Now I don't usually agree with Dick, but he said something I've said on other threads, and that is that President Bush's recent jump in the polls isn't necessarily because he's been on the offensive, but because the Dems have attacked him unmercifully for wanting to keep this country safe. The people are totally with the President when it comes to National Security. They don't care how it's done...just that he's doing it and we've been safe from attack so far. I hope they keep pushing this issue because it will only end up biting them in the arse. The more they speak out on privacy vs. national security, they're going to lose.
I see that Murtha is still spewing his stupidity and saying that he wouldn't join today's military. That's good, because we don't like traitors in uniform. But the more he speaks out against the President and the military, the more the people will choose the right side of the issue. This isn't the 60's, and there's alot of people out there who rebel against this type of rhetoric.
