Pence is a good option on the conservative ticket, but approval of this plug for Pence that puts down Santorum and George Allen sets a dangerous stage.
This type of politicking plays right into the hands of the liberals who seek to divide the conservative party.
"Even such conservatives as Sens. George Allen, Sam Brownback, and Rick Santorum can't do it. They are either unknown or unelectable."
Okay, I made this assertion and TaxRelief asked me to put up some facts. The facts are:
1. U.S. Senators are for the most part viewed as boring.
2. The support of bills such as the Prescription Drug Bill, No Child Left Behind and the Transportation (Pork) Bill leave questions as to how conservative they really are.
3. Sen. Allen has not demonstrated a clear position on either the abortion or illegal immigration issues.
4. Sen. Santorum always seems to be saying something and getting himself into trouble.
