Pence is a solid. I'm his constituent from the 6th District of Indiana and have seen him stand and deliver in the most hostile town hall meetings. He gave a Social Security Reform town hall meeting at a retirement home full of retirees, professors (Ball State) and union workers. 1) he wasn't afraid to go in and 2) he cleaned their clocks when it came to facts - because conservatism works!

His training as a lawyer makes him pragmatic. His time spent as a radio talk show host in Indianapolis made him defend conservatism in the public forum 5 days a week. Ask any Hoosier (Indianan), they'll tell you the same.
