Loved the video(I no longer watch Chris)..Chrissy looked dumbdtruck and anything that keeps him from motor mouthing is a moment to be cherished!
PBS ran part 2 of their American Experience program on Ronald Regan last night, and IMHO, it was very well done and quite positive on Reagan's accomplishments and the man himself. The only real "negatives" interviewed were Chrissy Matthews and Anthony Lewis who both just couldn't admit the fact that Reagan was right, and they were not only wrong, but dead wrong. They both came across a petty, small-minded partisan hacks, which they are.
It was fun watching some of the old footage they showed --- Helen Thomas was every bit as hateful toward Reagan as she is today against Bush --- Fat Teddy making a speech in favor of the "Nuclear Freeze" screaming the same kind of leftist BS that he screams today. --- Thousands of "protesters" on the streets looking just as weird and radical as the protesters look today. --- and all the while, the viewers of this documentary were made aware of what Reagan's master plan was and how he had to be strong and resolute to overcome the "opposition" to eventually see real arms reductions and lessen the threat of all-out nuclear war.
