I'm glad someone else is thinking of the future and not just the here and now. Most of the hard core Bushbots simply don't realise that GW will not be in office forever, and if , God forbid, a Democrat like Hillary takes office, the same people that were all for Big Brother having his way with the common folk will be screaming of the injustice.

Have you completely forgotten what Billary did when they were in the WH? No law is going to change anything that Billary will do again if they once again reside in the WH - they will break any law they feel is necessary. This is the Lib way - the NYT not only has a right, but an obligation, to tell the American citizen all the Government secrets so that Bush can be removed because we no longer have separation of powers. Pubbies have all three (er, I mean two) branches of Govenerment. That allows the libs to do anything they want and break any law they want in order to restore balance to the separation of powers arrangement.

Exactly right. All of this "what if Hillary is elected" stuff is pointless. If she gets in office she will do all sorts of things despite them being unconstitutional, and all of the precedents on the books won't stop her.

Therefore, complaints about this NSA thing are pointless, unless the people are saying they don't trust President Bush. If they don't, then there is notohing to say to them.
