So the teachers union took the equivalent of $6,500 from each of 10,000 teachers and handed it over to Democrat Party-affiliated organizations whose goal is to turn America into a Euro-style, secular socialist welfare state? And the teachers union flushed away that much this year alone?? Boy, that's lame. If I was a teacher, I would be pretty annoyed.

Looks like public school teachers are overpaid at least $6,500 per year.

Don't forget what the Union is doing to their pension funds

NEA gives to liberal causes - not even news, much less breaking news.

But $6,500 per teacher? That's incredible. Are you sure that's the right number.

Also only 10,000 members? I would think there are more teachers than that just in Georgia. i would have guessed there were at least as many teachers as Walmart employees - that would mean a million+ teachers in the U.S.

From the NEA homepage:

NEA is 2.7 million members ...

Even so, they don't deserve any more pay than a teacher gets in China or India. We're on the global free trade plan now.

the real problem is most teachers support all of those groups plus some that are even worse.
