You can read these types of junk stories almost any day of the year. I say "almost" because the only exception is the day after election day when the Pubbies gain once again and the Rats lose as usual.

So what is the dem platform this time. In 2000 it was "I'm not Clinton. I'm my own man. Whaaa Whaaa." Then in 2002 it was "The 2000 election was stolen." In 2004 it was "I'm not Bush and by the way Bush lied and stole the 2000 election." I'm predicting more of the same.
There is one hope for the dems and Dean mentions it from time to time. The only way is to run as a republican. Dean wants the candidate to run pro-gun, soften on abortion rights and support religion. Basically the complete opposite of their platform. Fortunately this is so foreign to most dems they can't pull it off. Just think back to the hunting picture of Kerry in 2004.
