And you think national healthcare in the US is a good idea? It depends how it is organized. Anyway I do not see how it can be avoided when the costs are raising, the trade barriers are being lowered (costs of medical care add to the cost of production even if they could be paid by the workers themselves) and increasing number of voters is being affected.
