Where am I confused?

The workers are your fellow citizens. Since it is the American way to stand up for your neighbor, then do it. When his job is being moved overseas so that third world countries can have the money as agreed upon in the WTO ministerials, you see the essence of global authority unauthorized by the American people in action.

Now you can help your neighbor by standing up for his rights. His right to a representative government, not an centrally planned economy run by the WTO and foreign interests. Stand up for his right to have a voice in his own government, which means taking trade decision out of the hands of the "free traders" and put it back into Congress. It means to put the American people before the people of foreign countries that are taking our tax money to in a misguided welfare effort to "fight poverty". It means to stop taxing him to death so that you can send that money out of country to benefit foreign nations and corrupt governments. It means to stop illegal immigration and the hemorrhaging of money out of our country through remittances-- its up to $200 billion annually. I hope this helps.

No American, at NO time, has EVER been guaranteed a job! And nobody ( well, except fellow union members ) has ever, in the nation's history, has EVER "stood up" to "save" someone else's job. What on earth are you talking about? You can't "help your neighbor" save his job and it is NOT your nor my responsibility to do so.
