OK, boys and girls, for 10 points, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
Yep. I liked yesterday (paraphrase) when G.W. said, "if you're not talking to AQ, you have nothing to worry about."
;-)
I laughed out loud when I heard him say that. It was classic.
"If you're not on the phone with the German High Command," said FDR, "then we're not interested in what you're talking about."
"If someone is calling you from Al Queda, we want to know why."
It was a quote for the history books ;-)
Well, good for them. But there aren't going to be any "hearings" for the good liberals. The degenerates aren't going to get the opportunity to parade their faux moral outrage.
Eric Lichtblau is a swine and is probably at this moment being interviewed by the FBI.
Yes! This is the co-author of the book coming out today that exposes our state secrets.
He should recuse himself from further reporting on this story, not only for his obvious bias, but because he should give himself plenty of spare time for those FBI interviews.
Absolutely, GWB's words were priceless. Even soccer moms understand what he said.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend for the time being.
Nonetheless, I'll bet phone calls from joe stalin to anywhere USA were an object of federal interest.
"Even soccer moms understand what he said."
You mean "Democratic Soccer Moms," right? We Republican Soccer Moms have heard him loud and clear for over six years now. ;)
Glad to hear it. And don't buy this author's book. In fact, when you see it at Barnes and Noble this week, move it or cover it up with one by Dr. Walter Williams or Ann Coulter, or Rush, etc.
You know; the same ploy that the DemonRats use in book placement sabotage of conservative authors in public places? LOL! ;)
Actually, we were interested. All international civilian mails were reviewed, regardless of recipient.
Which was precisely my point. Guess I should use /sarcasm tags. :>)
Which was precisely my point.
My point was that government interest and censorship was not limited to the German High Command - and that maybe it should not be limited to Al Qaeda today. If we can get Congress aboard, as was done in WWII (Congress passed a War Powers Act in 1941, which which created an Office of Censorship), the surveillance can be increased further.
ROFL
Yes it was.
And let's just make sure that in the future folks like us WRITE the history books.
;-)
Bush is starting to talk back to these swine and he's doing better. I wish he point out that a wall between foreign intelligence and domestic intelligence gathering has already been tried, by the previous administration, and the result was 9/11. But his dad and Bill are chums.
I am not a political scientist but it seems that there has been no attack on the previous administration as part of a grand strategy. It could be that staying above the fray elevates the President or perhaps it reinforces the fact that the adults are in charge again. The Democrat constant carping wears thin in the public, fading into background noise while when the President speaks the words have weight. Witness effect of four years of constant Democrat Terror War second guessing versus six President Bush speeches on why we fight.
