Sometimes commonsense is a bit short. That is part of the problem however, there's hope because Bobby Jindal is on the committee that oversees FEMA. He's the right person to streamline the process.

Jindal said he not only wants to help the town and its people cut through the bureaucratic barricades, but to take the examples of where the process had gone wrong back to Washington, D.C., where he serves on the Department of Homeland Security committee that oversees Federal Emergency Management Agency operations.

BTW,

The relative I stayed with while in your area voted for Jindel, the ones from NO, while I'm not sure, I suspect they are big democrats like their father was and voted for Blanco.

Glad to hear Jindal is involved in this. Hope he runs for governor again, I think he'd be elected, don't you?
