They are preparing to dispute vigorously and quite publicly the broader legal critique, offered by some Democrats, the American Civil Liberties Union and some Republicans, that the president acted beyond his authority as commander in chief. The NYT trying to frame the ACLU, a known socialist organization with ulterior motives, as being on par with the legislative branch of this country. And it goes on, the useful idiots that buy this rag lapping it up. Thank G_d their readership is sinking like a rock.

This morning I heard a guest on CSPAN - a professor at Georgetown School of Law - say to a caller that groups such as the ACLU are about the only hope for "us" [meaning the caller, himself, and everyone he agrees with] because the Republicans have control of the Congress, the Executive Branch and most of the Court System!
Whatever happened to the idea that the electorate have a say in who controls Congress and the Executive Branch, and that the Judicial Branch is expected to judge on the Law as written by the Legislators, and signed by the Chief Executive.
