The north San Joaquin Valley has had some high winds and isolated street flooding, but no major problems as of New Year's Day.
I do understand that Sacramento County and surrounding counties east to the Sierras are being hammered.

Central San Joaquin is cloudy but dry for now. We are expecting "strong to severe thunderstorms to develop overnight and through tomorrow afternoon" though. Cool! I like weather.

I wonder if I should unplug the new TV, computer, etc. before crashing tonight?
