Has anyone actually seen this movie? It seems to be famous for being famous, but I know not a soul who has watched the thing.

Has anyone actually seen this movie? Good God, no! I won't even watch the commercial; whenever it comes on I flip channel asap.

Hell no. But the closest I've gotten was (being forced!) to watch a trailer before Harry Potter started. I'm in Asia right now and being out of the country it REALLY sinks in how much Hollywood soils our reputation day in and day out around the world.
The Asians won't know how ridiculous the idea for this movie is, so during the trailer they were muttering like "Ewwwwww", and "Ah ha, so that's what cowboys are secretly like". I was deeply embarrassed.
Being overseas I've seen many scenes which most of us in America hate, like a white man looking stupid, or getting slapped around, or getting laughed at, or failing, or looking weak or looking cowardly. Foreigners really believe in these images. It's very damaging, especially the appearance that we're all so weak.
When these things are shown in a foreign country (and make no mistake, our movies are the mainstay everywhere), there's no one around to counter the deceitful images so foreigners are left with strong, incorrect impressions. Hollywood can't decline fast enough.
