You're exactly right, "they", whoever that is (let's not make people we don't know feel more important by calling them "they"), haven't accomplished anything.

This is an obvious attempt to insult more people and to try and get under good people's skin in the fashion that these snide Hollywood types have spent that last decade doing. A decade of decline for themselves and their products that is set to accelerate even more in the coming years.
