Reading through that I wonder what the writer's motives are. Did he want us to feel sorry for Hitler and to despise Churchill? Sure seems that way.

I guess the new wave of anti-Semitism in Europe has given birth to a pro-Nazi press right there in England.

It has to smart to when they read Churchill and make the connections in their own minds to G.W.B. There are similarities, too many even for a Liberal to be blind to no matter how full of hate they may be for our President. I suspect the tone of the piece frames the arthor's mind as this unsettling comparison is made, resulting in the dim view of Churchill's thoughts and expressws wish in the article he would have regretted it had he done so.
