Well that was slimey! Nothing like a tiny peek at DU to remind me why I don't usually even lurk there. And how typical that they can't define "freedom." There's even one post that said women had many freedoms under Saddam! eeuusshh
Since growing up during VietNam protests, I used to think I was the only conservative who was anti-war on the planet (I later met others). However, now I firmly believe that there IS something worse than war, and that's having nothing you will fight for. It's clear from just a few posts over at DU that there is just a void in their hearts where things they hold dear should be.
Anyway, Danielle rocks!
It's utterly amazing how superior they act. Two of them even decided to use a little 'devil' emoticon. Um...why? What purpose does it serve?
From the way they talk, they have no idea how close we were to winning the Vietnam War. Heck, for all intents and purposes, we had won it through our air campaign. But the politicians snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Also, they cite the Downing Street Memos as proof. Which, after they've been disproved REPEATEDLY, discredits them so much they have negative credit.
I suppose it's to be expected; for every action, there must be an equal and opposite reaction. Free Republic cannot exist without a Democratic Underground lurking in the shadows.
