** Working with the Congress, we ended or reduced about 90 lower-priority or poorly performing government programs, cut non-security discretionary spending, and kept overall discretionary spending growth below the rate of inflation. We have now cut the rate of growth in non-security discretionary spending each year I have been in office.**
OK, maybe I just don't get it, but why isn't this fact out there in the Republican talking points???

**In the new year, we must also make permanent the tax relief that has kept our economy growing.**
Thank you, Mr. President!

What's amazing is the dem take on this past year. Nothing but negative, A to Z. You'd think President Bush was a combination of Ted Bundy and Attila the Hun.

We have now cut the rate of growth in non-security discretionary spending each year I have been in office.Well, um, OK. Cutting the "rate of growth" of this spending is an accomplishment, I guess, but it's not really news unless the spending itself is cut.

In 2005, America grew in prosperity, advanced the cause of freedom and peace, and enhanced our security. Our duties continue in the new year, and I'm confident that our nation will meet the challenges that lie ahead. Amen! Amen! Amen!
Thank God President GWB is our president now, instead of Gore or that traitor Kerry.
God Bless America and especially President GWB!

On thing the current DUmocrats never have been is patriotic. Not only do they hate this nation and everything it was founded upon, the loathe their own constituents even more. They wake every morning, look at their hollow shell in the mirror and hate is the only thing they see in the reflection.
The only message I have for the DUmpster Diver DUmocrats for 2006 is:
HAVE A NICE FLIGHT!

I dare say 900 or 9000 would be more like it, but one
has to start somewhere.

"OK, maybe I just don't get it, but why isn't this fact out there in the Republican talking points???" Mike Pence (R-Indiana) got the memo and sent it out to Hoosiers. Can't vouch for the rest of the country.
