what I do not understand is - the folks at NSA involved in a program of this nature, undergo ROUTINE polygraph tests. I can't see it being one of them, or anyone in the "circle" who would be subject to polygraph. it has to be someone outside the operational circle who knew about this program. so let's start breaking it down.
It is my sincere hope that the Justice Department will make an example of them. The hammer should come down hard and soon. These are the ones to make exemplars of. This transends the effin' democrate innanities and merges deliberatley with forsaking ones country. It is dangerous. It is not to be tolerated and should be crushed out with prejudice. They are traitors to their country. Hate of Bush will be their excuse, but will in no wise be excused in a court of law. File the case in Texas and put me on the jury. These pricks will never see the light of day.
NOTE TO CBS: Dozens know about a lot of things...doesn't make them okay.
maybe the "leaker(s)" isn't just a partisan leaker.....he/she/them might be an actual enemy spy/mole in our govt who cleverly passes the fruits of his/her spying through the public news media.
It might be that this is not so simple as partisan politics.
And on a related note - just because somebody sees something in the public domain does not make it true, or, especially, OK to discuss in the open.
Yeah, and I wonder what O'Donnell and Hissey will be "reporting" when GW begins spear-fishing Democrat leakers throughout 2006. And following Delay's amd Libby's exoneration. LOL!
Good point.
CBS is still on the air?
According to a guy on FNC, there were only a few people who knew about it, and that should make finding the leaker easier. So much for the Communist Bull$h1t System.
Thanks for the heads-up. You're a real trooper for sitting through a network newscast. And CBS - - whew.... God bless you, man. Fortunately, I doubt that 100 viewers believe anything CBS says, and the other half of their audience is too busy washing the dishes to pay much attention.
Employees of the NYT are not legally bound to protect classified information, but those behind the article are an accessory to the crime. If they don't reveal their sources they should be held in contempt of court until they do. I'm pretty sure that's what's going to happen.
;^)
Are there naked pictures of Valerie Plame out there?
How many is a few? And for that matter, how many of that few would have contacts with the New York Times, or be inclined to leak information to them?
All in all, I'm guessing that even if there were a considerable number of people that actually knew about the program, their short list of suspects is pretty short. I'm guessing that it was someone very, very senior in government, who doesn't think that any real repercussions will come of it. Leaking to the NYT is a huge risk for an analyst to take. It's a considerably smaller one for a Senator. For instance.
Whoa, that got your interest, didn't it? Actually, I think the closest she came was her pajama picture. But I would bet naked isn't too far away. They just haven't met her price yet.
I would tend to agree with that.
You wanna bet?
My money says the FBI wont do squat nor charge the first person from the Times. Nor will they find the leaker who went to the Times.
I had a lot more faith in the FBI when the guy in the dress was running it. LOL
Thanks for the ping!
