Fortunately, my dog eats the Lamb and Rice Diamond Dog Food.

The toxin found in the dog food is similar to the one found in peanuts -- which is why it's not a good idea to feed a dog peanuts or natural peanut butter.

Mine prefers almonds to peanuts, anyway.

Actually, it is the same toxin. Seems they test more stringently for food destined for human consumption.

Didn't know that. Have been putting his pills in peanut butter; seems none the worse for it either.
