Seriously, I quit eating lunch and eat fruit instead. An apple at 8:00 and 12:00, a tangerine/orange/banana (either/or) at 10:00am and 3:00pm. Then, I eat a light dinner, no more than 500 calories, which is really pretty easy to fit in. Just watch the calories, fat, and carbs.
The first two weeks I exercised 4 times a day for 20 minutes each session--bicycling 3.5 miles at 6:00am, 6:00pm, and 10:00pm, and walking a local nature trail during my lunch hour. During that first two weeks , I lost 17 pounds. With the cold weather coming on, I've cut back to just the walking, but I'll pick back up cycling in the spring.
One more secret, though I don't know how much of an impact it's had--Green Tea diet formula tablets-- the all-natural kind. They really seemed to help curb my appetite and coupled with the exercise, really seemed to boost my metabolism.
Wow! Congratulations! I'll give it a try.
