Yep--There were some outstanding rebounders on that 82-83 team. Coach V's strategy was to make the other team beat us, not just stand there and let them pass the ball around for 5-6 minutes at the end of the 4th quarter if they had a lead.
One night some friends and I were out to dinner at Darryl's and we were waiting in line to be seated. The guy I was dating got this really funny look on his face and I looked back to see what he saw and I was looking at the belt buckle of Sam Perkins. LOL!!!
