***THIS IS A GENERAL RESPONSE - NOT DIRECTED AT YOU PERSONALLY***
The Pro-Evo group posts a thread looking for an argument, not a debate. They can't do it alone, so they ping all their pro-Evo buddies. They also know full well that the debate will never be settled in these threads, they are looking to elicit a fight and to rub people's noses in it (primordial slime).
After recieving the response they don't like they cry a river about someone not being able to prove a matter of faith. Jeez, give me some crackers with that whine!
The most hypocritical aspect of the Evos is their desire to constantly have this debate on Freerepublic. Hypocritical? Yes, they are charged up, ping lists ready and look forward to this debate with sole purpose of sticking it to people of faith, but would never allow a similar debate to happen in a classroom.
Personally, I find this debate on Freerepublic entertaining, thought provoking, disgusting, irrational, and sometimes enlightening. It is too bad that this debate could not happen in classrooms across America. The kids might even enjoy school more and stay awake in science class.

And the pro-Creation group only posts out of their sense of Christian charity... lol

Obviously this wasn't about me, because I was debating a matter of fact. Creationists will post any old ridiculous thing, then, when asked to back it up, they whine like a Democrat and run away. You have it 180 degrees wrong.

Horse manure. You haven't been following the debate very long/well. It shows. A good many evos here are Christian. People of faith.

Well, since you have decided not to enter it, it would be best just to move along. We don't want you to barf over something you aren't willing to engage in.

Whole Language has been tried already, as has Whole Math. We don't need Whole Science as well. ID/creationism is not science, and does not belong in a science classroom any more than Scientology or astrology do.

And if I still had any kids in high school, I'd tell them to lurk on these threads. With all the points of view expressed here, there's something for everyone -- and that promise comes with a monkey-back guarantee!

The most hypocritical aspect of the Evos is their desire to constantly have this debate on Freerepublic. Creationists have brought this on themselves with political organizations like the Discovery Institute. DI is modeled after the way leftists do science. Don't bother with research, just claim the other side is immoral.
