Why do you say that?

Several reasons. They are flying in a sick child from Iraq because it will make news and make people feel good about what America is doing in Iraq. They could probably save at least two American children for what it will cost to save this one Iraqi child. I also don't believe the child will recover well when sent back to Iraq. Of course, the taxpayers will subsidize her treatment there as well.

It's a publicity stunt and I don't like it.

I doubt any American child will be denied medical treatment because of this.
Once the back is healed, the little girl should do fairly well back home.
And, if it does put the Americans in Iraq in a positive light, I'm all the more for it.
Look at her little face and tell me it wasn't right to save her life.

A child may be healed. Who cares if it is a publicity stunt? Not me. Our military did a great thing as usual.
